Laminated Rectangular Side Fenders-Tapered Joint Type

Laminated rectangular side fenders-tapered joint type is a slightly modified chamfer type of rectangular side fenders. We can notice from the section view that there is a semicircle cut-out for guard rail, which is optional. This type of fender also can be provided with or without air cells. And the physical characteristics will differ as the sizes and shape of the air cells changes. As laminated D-guard fenders, rectangular side fenders-tapered joint type are also made of reinforced rubber which is more economical and durable. The rubber laminates of this fender are compressed onto tough steel rods and secured with heavy-duty angle or flatbar. The sections of this fender can be pre-curved to fit radius of any angle.
