Usually, a pile fender system contains two solid rubber fenders, steel panel, rubber panel or UHMW-PE face, and long-legged panel. Rubber panels or UHMW-PE face is used as a contact surface, which can greatly help to reduce reaction force and hull pressure so that the vessels can be protected to the utmost. The long-legged panels under water are used to fix the fender system. When needed, it can also be designed as parallel motion fender system.
